Malta is an island nation situated near the middle of the Mediterranean Sea and only 300 km from the coast of Africa. It consists of two main islands; Malta and Gozo and it is a popular holiday destination for Europeans.

Valletta - is the capital of Malta on the island of Malta it has its own page - Valletta

Megalithic Temples of Malta - are a series of prehistoric monuments located across Malta. They are listed as a World Heritage Site. 

Mdina - is the old capital of Malta. Mdina is a medieval walled town situated on a hill in the centre of the island. Many buildings in the town date back around 1000 years when the fortifications were built by the Normans. 

                                     Marsaxlokk harbour

Marsaxlokk - is a traditional fishing village located in the south-eastern part of Malta, with a population of 3,277 people. Most of Malta's fish supplies are caught by fishermen coming from this port. Swordfish, tuna, and the popular 'lampuki' are caught in abundance between spring and late autumn.

Victoria - is the capital city of Gozo - it has a fortified sector and cathedral. 

Golden Bay - one of Malta's best beaches in the north west of the island. 

Blue Grotto - a series of 7 caves and rocky inlets on the south side of Malta.
